Loved my stay here. I was able to get the female only bunk room. Warm blankets and large pillow provided upon asking. Kitchen was well equipped. A few drawbacks: Had to go outside for the shower/bathroom, but I got used to it. The walls are also really thin, so it was easy to hear guests in the living room talking, but people were generally good about it. It also got a bit noisy outdoors at night, especially on a Friday night with people drinking nearby, so being a good set of earplugs and an eyemask. Koji was so lovely to let me leave my luggage there for a few days for a very minimal fee while I hiked the Kumano Kodo. He was also very helpful in providing information about the town and other activities. Spoke English very well (and other languages too!). Would stay here again.

Chill open spot, laid back, Koji offered tons of help with logistics and maps. Met some really rad journey-ers there. Am super grateful to have gotten such an affordable, cozy environment so last minute.

Great homey stay. Has a cat too!!!
