25.05.13From the moment I arrived, Hiromi-san and the entire staff provided exceptional hospitality that made me feel genuinely welcomed and cared for. The mountain view room was serene and offered breathtaking views that added to the tranquil experience.
The onsen was incredibly relaxing, and the traditional Japanese breakfast was absolutely delicious — full of flavor, balance, and care. I especially appreciated how they kindly accommodated my unusual phobia of fresh fruit (I’m not allergic, just strangely scared of them!), which was a thoughtful and heartwarming gesture.
Hiromi-san truly went above and beyond. I wasn’t sure the best way to get to my next stay or how to handle the route with my plans to visit Fuji-Q Highland, and I didn’t even know how to call a taxi. She generously helped coordinate everything — discussing the taxi options, the free shuttle to the station, and even arranging for my next ryokan to pick me up instead to save money and make things easier. I honestly felt a bit embarrassed to mention I had another ryokan booked, but she was nothing but kind, supportive, and happy to assist.
The traditional Japanese snack provided in the room was also a lovely touch that I thoroughly enjoyed. Every part of this stay felt personal, genuine, and full of heart. I’m deeply grateful for the warmth and kindness extended to me, and I would love to return in the future.
Thank you so much, Hiromi-san, and everyone at Ryokan Taiheikan, for making this experience so special.
25.05.02We had a great stay here!! Staff were very friendly, everything was amazingly clean, and location was great with a car! Was worried about sleeping on a futon but it was decently comfy for two nights with extra cushioning from the seat pads. The inn also doesn’t take too many guests so we always got the shared onsen to ourselves too! Excellent stay and value for money ☺️
