Ikebukuro Manga House

This is a great place if you want to stay in a quiet neighborhood but still be close enough to the amenities of the Ikebukuro area. The place was clean and had great features, like a nice kitchen and washing machine. My only concern was that there is a strong odor coming from the drainage areas of the bathroom and kitchen sink. I think they need to perform maintenance on their pipes.

Overall, I had a pleasant stay at this apartment. The place was comfortable and well-maintained, and I enjoyed my time here. There was only a small issue with an unpleasant smell that seemed to come from the sink. In addition, communication with the owner was a bit difficult, as I was unable to reach them during my stay. I eventually had to ask a local person passing by the apartment to help contact the owner for me. Aside from these issues, everything else was great, and I appreciate the stay.

Had a problem when checking in. While they endorse contactless check in, they didn't give the pin number to access the key to our room. We had to wait around half an hour before another tenant came and help us make a call to the customer service. We cannot do a call since we don't have japanese phone number as it is needed to make the call. I've tried messaging through agoda message feature but no response. While my stay there was very pleasant, my only concern was the check-in system.

Washing machine was noisy and dryer not working. No place hanging clothes. Ended up use the coin laundry nearby. Tissue paper run out and no refill. 4F + 1 Basement but lift only bring u to 3F, got to access to 4th floor by stair from 3rd floor. It’s clean generally, toilet washing basin v small. Neighbours very close to each other, so you can hear each other easily. You can’t talk /laugh above your average volume at night. It’s a safe neighbourhood. One of the morning 8am, neighbour having renovation and full of hammering noise. Generally cheap for long stay, if short stay, not worth the effort of bring your luggages from train station.
