이케부쿠로 로얄 호텔 히가시구치텐

This was my first solo trip for work and I was a bit nervous. But the staff at this hotel are all very friendly and helpful! I liked the room a lot. It was a lot bigger than I thought for a usual single traveler. The only downside i had about it was the tiny bug I found twice on my bed. But I think it is due to it being next to a window and all the renovations that is currently being done to the hotel at the time. Oh and there was quite a lot of street noise at night time... especially sirens and hooligans yelling. Haha This hotel is convenient. Its literally right next to a Lawsons and a Family Mart. Only about 5min? walk to the Ikebukuro Station too! If I could, I would book here again~

Very convenient place to stay

The hotel is currently upgrading its rooms and signage, this did not impact on my stay though. The staff were lovely and accommodating. My room was spacious but the bed was uncomfortable and the bathroom tiny- I would think that my floor would be updated at some stage. No real complaints actually. Super convenient to Ikebukuro Station, lots of shopping opportunities but there must be an emergency department close by as police and ambulance sirens were frequently heard, there were a box of earplugs available at reception for your use.
