2 minutes on foot from Komoro Station, 7 minutes by car from Komoro Interchange. Agehaya is located in the center of Compact City Komoro.
Within walking distance to major sightseeing spots such as Komoro Castle Ruins, Kaikoen, and Honmachi, where old houses are lined up. Access to restaurants is also excellent. It is also very convenient as a base for mountain climbing, hiking, and winter sports while visiting hot springs. You can reach Karuizawa and Ueda in about 30 minutes by train or car.
The atmospheric building is an old private house built in the Meiji era, and the first floor is a restaurant known as Ichizenmeshiya, where Toson Shimazaki frequented. Their selling menu includes traditional sauce cutlets and plenty of vegetables from their own farm.
We can flexibly prepare dishes (dinner) upon request, including vegan meals. Of course, you can also have your meal in a private room.
If you come by car, we have a parking lot (1 car, free).
There is an auto-locking entrance exclusively for guests, so you can check in and check out without face-to-face contact without worrying about the time. We will let you know the passcode in advance.
We can also arrange tours unique to Komoro, such as a soba-making experience, grass flute experience (playing music using leaves as musical instruments), Fujimura's footsteps tour, and an ice wind cave guide.
