Me and my partner booked a stay for a few nights and stayed in Room 1. Check-in was simple, friendly, and informative. Each day housekeeping was available to refresh or top up any supplies such as tea, coffee, biscuits, fluffy towels, breakfast food hamper etc. The weather outside was hot and the room already included an electric fan. My partner is a light sleeper and we didn't hear any external noise or anything that kept us awake at all. The bed was really comfy and spare pillows also provided. There was also wardrobe space and hangers for clothes, we really had everything we needed for our stay in this peaceful village. 10/10!

My Mrs and I stayed there for one night and found it to be perfect for our needs. It was located close enough to walk to the place we were headed to that night and the room was lovely. I frequently base my first impressions on the quality of the biscuits with the tea and coffee facilities! The biscuits in this case were EXCELLENT! The room was nicely decorated and the bed comfortable. The shower was powerful and the towels fluffy. I know some folks complained about the breakfast 'box', but I had no expectations of it and we found a local buffet breakfast place nearby anyway. No issue for us and we would happily stay again when we return.

I booked at short notice and wasn’t really sure what to expect. Upon arrival I was greeted by the friendly host, in the pub. The room was very clean and well appointed. There’s no ‘sit down’ breakfast option but that’s fine with me. Good price and I hope to be back. The village itself is lovely.
