The cruise was ok till we got scammed, the evening entertainment was quite disappointing, a guy with a guitar who was not entertaining at all no atmosphere. What concerned me most was the transport situation arranged through the cruise staff after our trip.althougt we paid at the dinner the night before, We needed transport from Ha Long Bay to Ninh Binh, and a staff member from Catherine Cruises offered to organise a private car for us the following day. We paid in advance using my Wise card on their payment machine. When the cruise ended the next day, my partner and I waited in reception for our transfer. After waiting around 15 minutes, I approached a staff member to ask where the car was, as Ninh Binh is approximately four hours away and we had already booked accommodation there. Around 40 minutes later, a Catherine Cruises staff member informed us that the car had “broken down” and that we would instead receive a refund. I asked whether they could organise alternative transport, as we did not know the area or who to contact, but we were told they “didn’t know anyone else.” Although they provided a receipt confirming the refund had supposedly been processed, Wise refunds can take 5–10 business days to appear. Unfortunately, it has now been three weeks since the cruise, and no refund has been received on my Wise card. I have also emailed Catherine Cruises regarding the matter and have received no response. The lack of communication, assistance, and follow-up was extremely disappointing and caused us significant stress. We were ultimately forced to walk around looking for help ourselves before finally managing to find a bus to Ninh Binh. I really felt lost and with the transport arrangement and missing refund has left me feeling very let down and unable to trust the company. No reply to my emails yes I was scammed I would never recommend Catherine cruise to anyone

No Vegetarian or basic chicken stuff, they only have sea food.. very boring. The cruise will stop at a place after 2 from harbour And will stay there till next morning. Not much of activities All the cave visits were very crowded. Not worth the money.

Trang “Evelyn” is one of the most caring waitresses I have ever met, she was responsible for many things regarding or stay. She came with us to one of the tours and she is exceptional! She cares so much about the guests needs and very caring. I got a bit sick and she got me ginger tea without even me asking. My mum was visiting and she made her a welcome cake…she is really exceptional ❤️ The whole staff were friendly and helpful. The place is clean the food is filled with options (they also have a target to get you stuffed 😅) they offer you food most of the day and because it’s delicious you keep eating!!! I would recommend that they make activities a bit longer especially for ppl who are staying longer trips because we finished almost everything in 2 days and the third day had only 1 new activity (around 1 hr) i wish we swam longer ( we only had 20 mins on our second day) the village is so good and also needed linger time to explore but the time alocated was bit short for it. Overall very good experience.
