You won't be lost if you stay at Appartel am Dom. It is very near the rail station, The Old Town and a few blocks to the north and west, there are some cool neighborhoods with great and lesser known hangouts. Max Start, perhaps the best traditional restaurant in the city is a 10 minute walk from the hotel. The hotel is showing signs of age, however it is still a good place. Great staff. Enthusiastic and helpful.
