Excellent service and great customer satisfaction

직원분들이 엄청친절하시고 공간도 너무아늑하고예쁘고좋았어요 일정상 늦게체크인, 담날일찍 체크아웃한게 넘넘 아쉬울정도였습니다

this is not a 5 star luxury lodge. Firstly on arrival we were given no real welcome and explanation how everything worked. There was a full kitchen but no offer of dinner. I checked the check out time and was told 2.00pm then at 11.00 got a txt saying 1.00 as other guests arriving. Yet when i questioned this the lady was very vague. The bed had roll together and was a cheap mattress with no cushion top. The grounds were unkept with old rotting leaves and the pool area was dirty. I find it hard to believe they call themselves a five start luxury lodge. In the arrival orientation book they mentioned at 7.00pm canapes would be offered by the roaring fire. No fire apart or canapes. At 8.30 am the curtains were drawn and no sign of the hosts and no fire despite it being winter. When ia sked about this the host said it wasnt cold ! Really wanaka in winter ! Next to the fire in the lounge were at least 20 empty boxes and outside on the lawn were boxes. A really poor disppointing property that could be so much better. Will not recommend.

We arrived at Lime Tree Lodge to check in and were greeted by 2 very inexperienced staff who could not speak English clearly. After an hour of confusion we established that they had double booked our room. They provided absolutely no assistance in finding alternative accommodation. In addition, the establishment appeared very down at heel and there was an unpleasant odour in the reception area. We arrived at the same time as another couple, who had the same experience. When we spoke to the manager, who was not on site, by phone, some form of compensation was offered, however this was not provided in the end.I would strongly discourage anyone from booking this lodge - the favourable reviews on Tripadviser etc. were probably submitted some time ago when the lodge was managed by the previous owners.
