Flexible staff, easy access to town & very close-by to the lake, restaurants & bar, next to motel is supermarket which is very convenient.

This place is the perfect location and worth the money. It’s the center of everything and walking distance to the wanaka tree and also the other food trucks and groceries

Only a short 2min walk to the lake, cafes, restaurants, shops & also next to a supermarket so very handy. Easy parking onsite & the room was self contained with small fridge, microwave, electric jug & toaster etc. I also found the bed very comfortable.

My wife and I stayed at the Aspiring Motel for two nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Our ground-floor room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. Although the bathroom was a little dated, it was well maintained and clean. The king bed was very comfortable. The kitchenette, equipped with a sink, plates, cutlery, kettle, and toaster, was both practical and convenient. Parking was located right next to our unit, though the spaces are somewhat tight. The motel is ideally situated, just a two-minute walk from the shopping and restaurant precinct as well as the lake. The staff were friendly and accommodating. We would happily stay at the Aspiring Motel again when visiting Wanaka in the future.
