26.02.13It is one of the best stays you can have if you need a short stay near to the airport or for a layover.
Lovely place, extremely close to the airport & great staff! The breakfast is amazing too!
A sure 10/10
I just had a night to stay, & i am so glad I chose them!
Thank you!
26.01.21Quick access to airport, cleanliness. staff helpful and friendly.
25.11.25Avoid this place! The only redeeming feature was the included breakfast — everything else was an absolute nightmare.
First off, the hotel is nowhere near Keflavík Airport. We’re talking an hour and forty minutes on foot, with barely any bus service and zero transport options on Sundays unless you’re willing to fork out for ridiculously overpriced taxis. I ended up spending £90 on taxis just to get to and from the airport, on top of a £30 bus from Reykjavík. So much for “airport hotel”.
The door to my room barely functioned. I had two other guests trying to help and none of us could get it open. Every single time, I had to get staff to assist with some bizarre manoeuvre of lifting, sliding, and praying. When I mentioned it to staff, they were dismissive and rude, and my key card even stopped working during the night, meaning yet another trip downstairs.
The lowest point? After everything — the transport mess, the broken door, the exhaustion — I was laughed at by staff when I was clearly struggling and in distress. Incredibly unprofessional and honestly quite upsetting.
Save yourself the money, the stress, and the embarrassment. There are far better options in Iceland — this is not one of them.
25.11.03We stayed at this hotel for two nights in June, 2025. The location is very convenient if you got a rental car from KEF airport. There are several restaurants within 15 minute drive. The room was definitely not luxurious but it's clean enough considering the price point. I would say it's equivalent to a Hotel 6 in terms of amenities.
