Love the kids club there!

Took a chance on the reviews. Wish I took them more seriously. Day 1 45 minutes to get bags. Discusting dinner buffet. Meat was like rubber . Continental breakfast was a joke. Only 3 cereals to choose from , 3 types of so called bread. Peanut butter and Vegemite served in a big jar so everyone’s dipping into it. So called orange juice was so sweet made of powder . First day ran out of coffee had to wait for it to come in. Day 2 ordered fish and chips and burger chips and salad only to be told chips ran out. Still would of charged us $25 Fj for each. Just gets worst. Day 3 rooms still weren’t cleaned . Told reception she was surprised. We r in hospitality couldn’t believe it. Asked to speak to manager that too took half hour after she knew there was complaints. Told her food is discusting , service is lousy, the POOL sides full of mould. Told her this is against international standards. Told her to speak to the chef . Forgot to say the night before s dinner was mix mashed into other meals for buffet lunch. Told her to pick up their act as everyone on the island was so disappointed and was going to give a bad review. Website says 4 restaurants but funny buffet was all you could eat . You had no choice, of course at $60 each it suited them. Day 3 food got better for what it was. In the morning we noticed the pool was closed after we complained. Wanted to use jet skis the 3 they had were broken. Decided to go to dive shop to get snorkels . I asked her for 2 clean sterilised mouth pieces she looked at me dumb founded. She said there coming in the afternoon. Next day went back of course none. Day 4 - woke up from heat in our room only to discover the power , & water was out. By then a group of us really had enough and demanded we get off the island. We still had 3 days to go and refused to pay for any food or drinks to cover our costs. We took next ferry out and found accommodation on mainland. Apparently the island was great when Australian owned it. Now owned by Fijians who have no idea. All I can say it’s a matter of time before it goes down . Maybe they need a Gordon Ramsey . And check your invoices !!

This is a beautiful resort in a superb location. Just don't expect 5 star luxury and kick back, relax and enjoy the island. Food is hit and miss which is the only downside. It really is a relaxing stay for a few nites.

It was nice and relaxing. The days also filled with activities for cultural experience and cooking lessons, water sports and friendly attentive staff. Watching sunrise on the private boat was a bonus.
