26.05.29Amazing view, around a lot of restaurants, clean rooms, big room and there is Netflix on the tv.
26.02.09I called at 1 a.m. asking for a quote which came to an est. $***for one night. I reserved a room an hour prior to arrival. Upon arrival, I checked Agoda to see their price quote, which was roughly $25 less than booking direct. I asked her if she could match the price and she said declined, but said I can go ahead and book the room online and she'll look for my confirmation. After she checked me in, I began to settle, ready for a shower and a bed after traveling all day. As I started my shower, I hear a knock at the door. It's nearly 3 a.m. at this point. I opened the door and she begins to tell me that she made a mistake and that my booking was scheduled for the 8th (today). I replied, " isn't today the 8th? " and she proceeded to tell me that she can't let me check in until 3 .m. and tells me I must pay for nother night since she mistakenly checked me in too early, but that she can price match Agoda if I pay her in cash if I wanted to continue staying,o
or else I'd have to leave, unfortunately and come back at 3 p.m. Knowing she is clearly trying to extort an extra payment after confirming she could could price match if I paid in cash when she said she couldn't upon arrival, I opted to spend the night in my truck and began repacking up everything. Only then, when she realized I was going to leave, she said not to worry about it, that I could go ahead and stay, depart Monday morning, completing my booking. I showered, went to bed, and woke to her knocking at the door to inform me it's checkout time. At this point I'm frustrated beyond belief, acked up, left and told them I will be requesting a refund of which she replied that they have a no refund policy, to which I replied thank God I didn't book directly with them, considering her attempt to have me pay double for the same day I booked, knowing that the price match in cash that she couldn't honor at first, was going directly in her pocket and not to the hotel. She knew my check out was for Monday when she booked me, told me the time and date, and then lied saying it was a mistake. When Agoda reached out, they inform Agoda that I booked on the 7th, which Agoda said that is impossible since the booking clearly states 8th-9th. Book at your own risk, but there's isn't a single hotel in Paris, TN that isn't attempted to price gouge or extort customers. The Hampton Inn was $***for one night, however, they said they would honor the "early" check in and checkout would be Monday morning. I wouldn't recommend or suggest any alternative in Paris, TN. In fact, I wouldn't stop anywhere in that town and keep driving past. An hour or less away in any direction you have significantly better options available.
