25.10.16I had no choice but to stay at the Rodeway Inn, as it's the only motel in Stayton, OR and I needed to be in town to be a bridesmaid for the weekend. I had a quick glimpse of their newly renovated hot tub before booking, and thought ok maybe this won't be so bad. Myself and my partner are both deaf. The front desk clerk showed visible discomfort when we let her know we couldn't hear. The fear and terror on her face was apparent. She immediately let us know that the hot tub was out of order - great. OK. The main benefit of this motel is its location, location, location. Its a stone's throw from Safeway and several restaurants on main street, and is of course, only a few miles away from a Deaf owned wedding venue (Camp Taloali) ... the bed was very hard, and I slept quite poorly all weekend, their breakfast offerings consisted of burnt coffee, bread options and cold cereal - quite disappointing.....would I stay here again..? Not unless they renovate the beds. improve their breakfast, and fix the hot tub.
