Downtown Camper by Scandic

Great hotel in central location surrounded by amenities and easy walk from everything. Friendly staff, chilled vibe, great place to stay

The breakfast is good but the food served is the same everyday. It would be perfect if there are some changes every one or two days. Location is convenient. Walkable to old town and public transports. There is a sauna but entrance is not free even for hotel guest. the hotel organize activities like hiking, yoga etc. everyday which I find very good. Generally I will recomend this hotel to visitors to Stockholm.

Stayed at this wonderful hotel for a week. Pros,: excellent breakfast, spacious ground floor with sitting, gym with 2 treadmills and 2 bikes, free weights and one multifunction machine, excellent location to many areas, activities which are organized for guests, beds comfy, many hooks for hanging stuff Cons: really crowded hotel which is a function of it's popularity, very pleasant staff who are a little too inflexible occasionally, dark feeling in rooms and corridors which I assume is a function of the theme of the hotel, fridge in the room not cold, heating for the room not quite up to scratch in spring, requested for a quiet room but got one facing the street which was probably the noisiest rooms in the hotel despite paying more for a bigger room, no bedroom slippers! Very well run hotel with a good location to many tourist spots. Queue to enter dining area was too long on day one of the conference and the staff did not react to try to resolve the queue. Nice touches - found a plate of strawberries in my room on the first night I returned.

The downtown camper by Scandic was such a nice hotel. My partner and I stayed for six nights in a Grande Double Room and had a lovely experience. Every morning we enjoyed the inclusive buffet and in the evening indulged over some cocktails at the nest bar on the ninth floor. The location is incredible (close to the metro and train station), there’s a gym and the lobby restaurant also has a great selection of food. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again.

Had to pay extra charge to check in early, HVAC barely works in room, light controls in room impossible to manage, the camper theme excessive. No worthy of 4 stars.
