Hostel is conveniently located near train station and bus terminal to Sun Moon Lake and airport. The location is also at downtown area so could easily walk to nearby places of interest or take buses to other parts of Taichung. Hostel is on 10th floor of a building (ASEAN Square) and occupies the entire floor with one wing for male and the other for female. Basic room setup with bed and a Ikea small side table, without any walking space if luggage is placed on the floor. Shoe cabinet and slippers assigned to each room are provided in the lobby area as no shoes are allowed inside the room. Shower with hair dryers and toilet facilities are located within each wing. Each shower cubicle is divided into wet and dry areas, which is nice. The dining area has hot & cold water dispenser, fridge and basic beverage (instant coffee and tea bags). Overall, a convenient location for a short 3 nights stay.

I had a great stay here! I booked a solo room for my 2 weeks trip, and at first looking at the photos I thought the room is gonna be crampy, but honestly, it was larger than expected. The solo room is enough for one person and is quite comfy. The location is great too! Very accessible and convenient to everything you might need. Plus, it is just walking distance to Miyahara. The staffs are quite approachable and especially the female staff they sure smiles a lot and friendly. I was working while traveling and I love that they have a big common area that you can socialize, work and eat. I wouldn’t think twice on booking them again if I ever come back to Taichung. Highly recommended.

Conveniently located near a bus stop (ASEAN Square). Room has designated cabinet with lock for each guest (can fit medium size luggage!). You could also open your luggage inside the dorm room (or store it outside of the locker). You will be given a 1 bottled water and a bath towel in your designated locker upon check-in. Toilet and bath facilities are very clean. Water, tea and coffee is provided in the common area. They are very strict with trash segregation so make sure to read the label on the waste bin or ask the staff in the counter for guidance. There are some nights where the loud party music can be heard (esp. Friday night) so if you're a light sleeper maybe you could bring earplugs but it didn't bother me much. Overall I had an excellent stay in this property.
