I stayed here for more than 7 days it was amazing the place was clean and near the night market

The hotel is old but classic. We just need to book a hotel as we are traveling around central Taiwan and we found this affordable but nice hotel in Taichung. Nice staff. The room is clean, and the breakfast is exceptional.

Okay for a night or two… bed is okay, no way to heat room, no real breakfast (though that may have been due to the holiday), mosquitoes all night! Definitely a sex hotel. Hall reeks of smoke but the room is okay. Everything is old and tired. Room itself is clean but rubber gloves were left on the sofa. Bathroom is weird: tub but no shower curtain so it’s the worst of both worlds; you have to step over and down to get out of the tub on a slippery wet floor. Inconvenient plug ins, good thing I brought two extension cords or I wouldn’t have been able to work at the desk (the one by the plugs is so shallow I couldn’t fit my laptop). Staff was fine, not friendly but not rude. Some very loud folks on the 6th floor, not sure if they were staff or customers but at one point someone got in a fight and there was screaming. Night market is good but only two days a week and nothing special. Overpriced for what it is. I’ve stayed in much nicer places for far less money. Looked way nicer in photos than in real life. Would not stay again.

The hotel room was functional for its price point, however, facilities are old and there was a musty/smoky smell to the room.
