24.10.07with the budget price. this place very affordable and quite good. staff at the desk, even she is old but she is very good at english. love the service and hotel environment!

24.07.08 This is among the few old-school hotel built in the era of Japanese occupation Taiwan.
Hotels in Taipei are by no means cheap, but Tien Chin remains one of the more affordable ones.
The hotel is very clean even if it appears a bit tired. The location is near of the most famous cuttlefish soup stall in Taiwan - Liu Tiao Tong. There are many convenience stores along the streets, and a few pharmacies too.
If the weather is good, you will find Taipei Main Station not too far away.
