This place has excellent location for travelers in Taiwan. Very friendly and responsive staff.

Apperciate that its near to train station. Walkable distance. Hostel is in between eatery places, convenience stall & walkable distance to a departmental shopping mall. BUT please take note there are not lift in the hostel. The hostel staff were so nice to help us carry the luggages & there is even a water despenser there! the stairs are quite steep as well so maybe not ideal for elderly. Room was ok except the middle of the bathtub was broken & they just seal it with tape. Bathroom door knob was broken as well. It was loose & couldn't lock it on & off. Room curtains were dusty. Otherwise ok bearable for a 1 night stay i guess.

The place is very near Taipei Main Station, specifically close to Taipei City Mall, which makes it very convenient for transportation and shopping. However, I had a big luggage and there is no elevator, so I had to carry it up to the second floor just to reach the reception area, which is not directly visible. Fortunately, they provided clear instructions for self check-in. My key and remote were prepared with my name on them, and I just had to go to the room number indicated. I also noticed another guest having difficulty contacting the staff—the phone at the reception kept ringing, and I realized you really need to go up to the second floor to access it. It was quite tiring for me because my room was on the third floor, and I had to carry my heavy luggage all the way up. Also, there is no hair dryer in the room, so you need to request one if needed. Overall, the location is a big advantage, but be prepared if you have heavy luggage.

It is a good place to stay if you are in a budget for hotel. Place is old but clean. They provide free cold and hot water. The bathroom is clean and water has good pressure, also have hot water. The place have no elevator but its ok for me.
