Chareena Hill Beach Resort

Honest thoughts on my solo stay: Stunning views and sparkling clean rooms, but be prepared for a lot of stairs! Food was average and it’s a bit far from Walking Street, but the peace and quiet made it worth it. 🌊🚶‍♂️

Nice view and the guy who took us to and from the ferry was wonderful. Other than this, this place is not up to cleanliness standards. Deck and paths leading up to the units is filthy and looks like it’s never cleaned. No one swept our deck the whole time. Rooms need updating and don’t look anything like the photos. Our balcony door did not close properly and was in need of repair. Bug infestations- i.e. termite nest on ceiling dropped live wiggling terminates down onto bed. Staff cleaned it up (and used the same bedspread after) and did not offer to switch us rooms or offer any sort of consolation. Found cockroach and centipedes in the room. Rats in the ceiling, could hear them scurrying around at night. Breakfast was fair but we are vegetarian and prefer to eat more eggs instead of meat. We were told we were only allowed 3 eggs per person. I was refused a 5 egg omelette but another man was served a good sized omelette and then when he was done ordered another one. I have never had any other resort with a buffet breakfast do that. Definitely not worth the money. Gross and dirty nice view but deck was dirty and too many red ants on it too enjoy sitting on it.

Resort overall very very very satisfying, just that i feel people with mobility issues should inquire more first, because its gonna be alot of climbing stairs . other than that. everyone is friendly, professional and very very comfortable room!

It's cozy place at the end of main beach, with a nice view.
