Friendly staff, convenient to walk downtown, parking at hotel & great breakfast

I have stayed at the Dude Rancher for years. Decor is funky and the staff friendly. But the building is tired and the location is decaying. There was a car broken into and dog waste in front of the entrance that was not cleaned up in 3 days. My room had the smell of an old garbage can intermittently. Just strange stuff. But the desk clerks and the housekeepers were nice and the price was right.

Small hotel in the heart of Billings, close to restaurants, shops and museums…. Although the hotel is a little older, my room was spotlessly clean and the $8 breakfast is awesome!
