The location of the inn is great, right off Main Street. Able to walk to stores, museum and restaurants. Rockland is a great little town. The inn is decorated quite nice. We had a comfortable room. The innkeepers were ok but not overly helpful and friendly. Breakfast was ok. I thought the seating was strange. Felt like sitting at small desks in the round. Conversation with other travelers was enjoyable.

Was beautiful, however there were a few things I didn’t like. There were cobwebs with live spider in the corner of our room. Our ac did not work to keep the room cool and we both woke up sweating in the middle of the night. The inn keeper had a weird response when I told her this and didn’t apologize but instead told us we probably didn’t have it set right because it was brand new. I know that we did have it on max cool etc. she told us we should have called her about it but we said it was the middle of the night and reminded her she had told us to not call after 10. Also there were other people checking in at the same time as us and she asked us if we wanted to here the history of the in. Because it would have been weird to say no we said yes but then had to wait a while for a couple not very interesting sentences. We would of preferred to of been brought to our room as tired travelers. When we finally got to our room we couldn’t relax because she asked us to wait for her to come give us a review of the room after she did the same with the other guests. All just not very necessary. There’s more I could say but those are the basics.

Charming property once inside. We were in bedroom one and experienced some road noise in our room, even though our room was one building away from the Main Street. But we were staying in an older B&B...not hotel like suggested by name and as it grew later, the noise dwindled. Nice towels and comfortable bed.

Our room was bright and wonderful. The bed was perfect, and we wished we could have slept in even later. Breakfast was great as well, and the innkeepers were very welcoming and provided great advice about where to have dinner. Would definitely return.
