Ok lah for the cheap price

I was traveling with my wife and kids to visit my parents. While we stayed at Motel 6 we watched people get arrested, the smell of cat urine was also constant, outside the motel there was garbage piled up, and old bicycles lying around, and the front desk was less than helpful. The swimming pool was out of order in July! This was a very unpleasant experience. It was easy to see that there were many people that lived there for as long as they were allowed, and I think that is were the urine smell was coming from.

Prices are the lowest among all the hotels in the area, and they are still high from the norm. Hotel sits in a popular location among hotels off Lehi Main Street shopping areas. It is also in one of the tightest lodging markets in the state and is currently short-staffed like all hotels appear to be. Key areas I really needed—clean room, working utilities, functioning heat and A/C, and safe location—were all covered. I would not suggest jumping into the pool. Staff are helpful based on their experience and are doing what they can to keep up with the workload. Needs to be better communication among staff about who is booked and who is not to help guests feel more welcome. Minor item, but I had to explain why I was still there (extended my booking). Should be surprised if those can be avoided. Overall, my experience has been good.
