As my home has steps and stairs, a friend suggested hotel stays post surgery/medical procedures. I have utilized a ground floor room several occassions in the last few years at this establishment & the current management is solid.
It doesn't have Victorian balconies with lush spider plants nor hammocks out by the trees.. nor room service or even a restaurant but it is an affordable, basic, clean & I might add, a reliable & pleasant stay. It is nice to see the pool open during the correct summer seasons under this new management the last few years. Good job, to them! The dining room is always clean for breakfast with ample seating and tables. I have always been met with fresh clean bedding & for me that is a top priority. While the location isn't suitable or very close to stores or restaurants for walking nor biking, it's a very short driving /taxi ride to several shopping centers and a wide range of medical services.
24.10.23 This is THE WORST MOTEL I have ever experienced @ any Price & or in my LIFe!! What made me not stay were the flying bugs that kept coming like they lived there & I was invading there space!!!! There was also a roach that was under the sink, ALIVE!! There was also a dead bug, just laying on the floor by the window!!
I went in the room & looked @ a little tv, use the bathroom, & eventually just had to LEAVE, because of the flying bugs, I JUST COULD NOT!!!! I went to the office, returned the key to the Staff member, & told him I could not stay because of the bugs & he look @ me as if I had told him something that was not true & he said to me, "have a nice night", being it was already either going on 10p.m. or a little after...... Mind you, he did not even offer a refund or anything else for my inconvenience, which was Truly UNSATISFACTORY, being I had just paid $77.00 to rest myself from dring in from Virginia!!!! I will NEVER be back to this Very HORRIBLE Motel Ever In Life, neither will I Recommend it to anyone, being that when I left, I could not find another room for the night, & had to drive around in my car until morning/daylight!!!! When I finally stopped, the sun was up, in a Walmart parking lot, I actually took a brief nap & begin looking for another Hotel, after alreading being on the go for almost 24hrs!!!!!! This is a Motel that needs to be Completely OverHauled or Torn Down & Started All Over Again, because this Motel specifically is giving "Choice" a REALLY BAD Reputation!!!! 👎🏽× INFINITY

When I got into the room someone started softly knocking on the door of the room, which to me now was a Safety Issue!!!!!!

24.08.07 This is a functional hotel. It has permanent residents, which we weren’t aware of when booking, and the pool was covered over when we visited in late July (was disappointing since that was a large reaso. For us booking it). No protein or dairy available for breakfast-carbs only. Was a little noisy in the evening.
