Price point is good given the room quality. Seems it was newly renovated. I got the Triple Room with my husband and it was spacious. My brother and his fiance first got the Standard Double Room with Balcony in the 6th floor and it was small. They later moved to a Double Room in 3rd floor and it was better. There’s a small elevator (seems normal in Istanbul) but it is on the first floor which is a floor higher than the lobby. So, from the street, there’s small steps up to enter the hotel lobby. Then need to go up first flight of stairs to access the elevator. Location pros: very near Istiklal St. and near Taksim Square. Also verh near Tarlabasi Blv. If you have airport pickup/dropoff your service will likely only stop along Tarbalasi Blv. So keep this in mind if you have many luggages. Location cons: the surrounding cafes have tables along the street and at night it can feel scary as it’s full of men. We thought it best not to stay out too late and never go out alone at night. Hotel lobby is quite cozy. You can stay there while waiting to go to the airport. Staff is nice, but they won’t offer to help with luggages.

Good location, good price, very friendly staff, clean, small room for single traveller

I was astonished with the reviews as it's at best a mediocre hotel in a good location. Very close to Istiklal street, but very noisy neighbourhood. Not preferred for travelers with kids. Coudn't sleep because of the noise coming throuhg the street the whole night, and to make it worse, there was a football match, so loud noises and cheering the whole night. Terrible experience. The elevator at best can fit two people, that also is accessible from 1st floor, not from the reception floor. In my opinion, The Green Park Hotel, is rather a much better option, if you are willing to pay a little bit more.
