Russell Square Hotel

The hotel was just beside the Russel square station it’s easy to find and there is a Tesco right across the street which is open 24 hours ( I guess) and with the kitchen you can by ingredient from the Tesco to cook for yourself ! Just to store the luggage is need money and only cash so I have to find the ATM to go to cash out my money which is troublesome

With this price range, I won’t say this is best facility you can get in London, but I’m booking during festive period, so many hotels are fully booked, so we are good as long as the location is next to underground station, with shops and eateries easily accessible, this is a good option if you just need a place to sleep or rest. Other than that, WiFi speed in the room is ok. Heating is ok, not too bad. The bad part I can’t accept is the shower, very hard to adjust for the temperature needed, and water too slow… I’m not coming back unless I need a place right next to the underground next time

Terrible experience and the worst property I have ever stayed at. Good location, however everything else about this property was disgusting , majority of the plugbsockets were broken, toilet seat and shower head broken , windows all rotten and didn’t close which made the property very cold . Radiators not working , There is a strong stench in every room of rotten drains and damp and the property itself was filthy and run down. No basics provided like hairdryer or soap and no mirror in the room. Beds positioned under the rotten windows , so you can hear litterally every noise outside - no sleep ! Booked for 2 nights , but checked out of the property after one night worst experience ever ! Disgusting and vile _ not fit for purpose .

Awful absolutely awful. Toilet flush broken. Toilet seat broken, Shower no hot water, Shower no bracket for shower head. Bath dirty, Bath surround broken. Toilet door lock broken, Sink plug filthy, Paper jammed down bath plug hole? The Bedroom, Mirror held up with string, Door has window in, to prevent light shining thru card from a shoe box was sellotaped over the window, Television did not work, station selection haphazard.
