26.04.20The apartment I stayed in was quite comfortable and very spacious for the price in Tokyo. It honestly felt nicer in person than in the photos. Though the biggest issue was upon arrival the room wasn't ready, so I had to wait an extra hour after the check-in time to use the room. There is no front-desk, you take your key from the letter box upon arrival. There is also no elevator, just a single staircase that goes up to each apartment, so it might be hard for some people with heavy luggage.
26.04.12Das Zimmer ist klein aber für eine Person gerade noch ausreichend. Mein Zimmer war im 4. Stock ohne Aufzug. Mit den Koffern und am Abend war es anstrengend ins Zimmer zu kommen. Ansonsten sehr freundliche Mitarbeiterin.
26.03.23The location is great, being just a few minutes away from Kanda station and approximately 15-20 minutes by foot from Akihabara. There's a 7eleven and other convenience stores and restaurants nearby which is convenient.
On the downside though there is no elevator and the stairs are relatively steep so take that into consideration if you have a large suitcase with you because you are looking at 2-4 flights of stairs to haul that thing up.
Overall though, I was satisfied, basic amedities like towels, soap, shampoo and toothbrush were provided, the location was great, room clean and sleeping on tatami was a fun experience
26.02.08The location and price were nice, though the tatami room was a little difficult to sleep in. The futon was fairly thin so it felt like sleeping on a hard floor.
26.01.21I was trying to find a place a few days before my weekend trip, and I found this place near Kanda station.
Room 502 is at the top floor of the building. There's another room which is room 501. 502 is smaller than 501.
The staircase is steep and narrow.
If you have a suitcase I don't recommend it.
I only carried a backpack and a duffel bag for my weekend stay.
It's a small but private room, which is I prefer compared to capsule hotels.
The room has a futon placed over a tatami mat.
The shower heater is very inconsistent.
The place has a stovetop, microwave, fridge and utensils, which is a pretty nice addition.
There's also a very small balcony where the AC unit is located. I think there's also a washing machine but its covered. You'll probably need to hang it on the rack on the balcony afterwards.
Pretty good for a 2 night stay. Totally self service. Just need to pick up the key in the mailbox. I arrived at midnight after the last train lol
Just confirm with the owner your lock code before you go so you won't have problems.
