26.05.13This is a great hotel for snowboarding and skiing. It’s located right next to the ski slopes — you can literally walk out and hit the lifts in under 2 minutes. The hotel offers snowboard and ski equipment rental plus paid lessons, which is super convenient.
They provide three meals a day with a fair variety of options. The buffet-style meals are simple but tasty and filling after a long day on the slopes. There’s also an on-site hot spring (perfect for sore muscles) and a self-service laundry room, which is a big plus for longer stays.
The hotel isn’t fancy, but it’s clean and well-maintained. Rooms are basic yet comfortable, with everything you need after a tiring day. The staff have limited English but are genuinely helpful and friendly — they always tried their best to assist us.
Overall: Excellent value for money if you’re here mainly for snow sports. Highly recommended for snowboarders and skiers who want convenience and practicality over luxury.
26.03.11good food and close to slopes
26.02.24Perfect skiing resort with young kids: good ski in / out location, good fresh buffet et nice playroom
26.01.21This Riokan/Hotel is perfect for skiing and relax. Close to the slopes, great onsen inside. The food is quite good.
Perfect.
26.01.02Stayed 5 nights, breakfast and dinner was good, with some variation daily. Their hot chocolate (available at lounge too) was awesome. Ski rental and storage at basement and quick access to the slopes. Onsen is relatively big. They don't change towels daily, you have to go get them yourself near the lift lobbies. Small shop onsite that has snacks
and souvenirs. Onsite laundry but please bring your own detergent, else buy them for 50 yen at gift shop.
