26.01.05 Comfortable room for travellers who expect to be out rather than in the hotel working. Our holiday was spent exploring Auckland, Rotorua and Hobbiton and the hotel was just perfect for us for resting. If we wanted anything like meals, groceries, and to go shopping, the Newmarket Shops were just a quick walk away.
25.12.18 Value was good, and location was close enough to where we needed to be. The shower flooded the bathroom for the whole stay and the staff gave us extra towels to help stop the flood each day, to mixed results. There were police in and around the hotel one two of the nights, not the hotel's fault but some of what was going on in the immediate area did feel a touch unsafe at times. All that said, I would stay again just because of the price and the tidy room.
25.11.28 Perfect for a layover or two more days. Great location with all the shops, restaurants and Auckland CBD just a 20mins bus ride. Close to the Newmarket station to get to the airport really nice and easy as well. Comfy beds, friendly staff, always my first pick when staying in Auckland. 👍
25.11.27 This place is out of the way but nice and quiet, certainly more like a hotel than a backpackers. But public transportation is close by and the dorm I stayed in was a nice large room with bathroom, fan and a big window. Beds were comfortable, it was clean, and I was the only one it it — a good choice if you’re looking for a quiet night away from typical hostel life.
