24.06.08 We arrived 3 hours earlier than check-in time but the friendly staff allowed us to check in straight away which was perfect since we had been on the train to Mostar from 7am. The hotel location gives a short walk to the old town at the exact spot of the iconic Stari Most bridge. If you are looking for a great view of the bridge and river, a terrace bar is across the road from the hotel - the views there are stunning! The room was super spacious, the bed was a dream to sleep in with the beat aircon that we very much appreciated! The best part of the hotel was the rooftop terrace where you can help yourself to the minibar, great city views and the most asthetic vibes! We used a local taxi service that took us from the train station, took us to Kravic waterfalls and even returned the next day to drive us to Neum - could not recommend them enough - driver Zagic Irhad who you can contact via WhatsApp on +387 61 536 364 - 10 out of 10 driver! Overall, a great stay - we are returning to Mostar in July with family and have booked to stay at the Shangri La again!
23.10.25 Had stayed for an extended day trip at Mostar. The top floor offers a very good view overview of surroundings.
It is situated within 3 mins walk away from the Moist old bridge... however at night, the walk up-slope could be dark.
