We had a great stay! Staff are very well mannered -service oriented. The location is just in the center of the activities, resto, just walking distance from beach. Tiny rooms but clean. Overall 👍. We’ll book again.

Excellent location. Decent food. Close to MJ Square are many other restaurants and bars. Beach is a short walk away.

I stayed at Coucou Bar Hotel and Restaurant expecting a relaxing getaway, but unfortunately the experience was quite disappointing. Room was small and very basic. Wi-Fi was very poor and unreliable, which was especially frustrating in such a remote location. The hotel itself showed clear signs of wear and tear - many things were not functioning properly: the toilet was smelly, dirty and flush was faulty, the shower does not work properly. What upset me the most, however, was the management’s complete lack of flexibility and empathy. Two weeks before my arrival, due to flight cancellations caused by the war, I kindly asked to either cancel or reschedule my booking. The staff ignored it completely and refused any solution. This left a very bitter taste, especially since I had been understanding and gave them plenty of notice. The owners and staff came across as greedy and unhelpful, more interested in securing payment than in providing decent service or showing basic human kindness. Overall, I cannot recommend Coucou Bar Hotel and Restaurant. There are far better options on the island for similar or even lower prices, especially considering the poor condition of the property and the disappointing customer service.
