My favorite thing was how spacious the room was! It honestly felt like a small studio: There is a washing and a drying machine, as well as a little kitchen section (I think they'll provide the hot plate for free if you ask; other cookware can be rented for a fee). Room-keeping was once every six nights, with the option of moving the cleaning date around (e.g., you can ask for it in the middle of your stay, instead of the 6th day. Some aspects of the facility are not up to the standard of hotels in the similar price range though: the toilet does not have a bidet (and was ecologically not ideal...), the TV was very basic with very few channels, and the air-conditional can only be cooling or heating (decided by the hotel), with only three levels of strength control. As for the location, it's quite interesting: super close to a subway station (Kitajuhachijo) 2, 3, and 4 stations away from Sapporo, Odori, and Susukino, i.e., the central area where the main attractions and 'actions' are. Given how efficient the subway system is, it is very quick to reach the center from the hotel (10-15 minutes if the subway timing is right), but you still need to take the subway, and there are many other hotel options in the center area to consider. Even picking one of the hotels around Kitajunijo (one station from Sapporo) might give you a better balance of quietness and distance to the center, plus being a bit closer to the more interesting part of Hokkaido University. Overall, I'm still quite happy with this choice though.
