It was a very good hotel to stay. Although it is very far from the main city center but a direct bus takes you to city center. Moreover, staying in this hotel helped me to see the real scenic beauty of Salzburg since I wouldnt be able to able to see it had I stayed in a hotel near city center.

Hotel Gasthof was a very nice hotel. We were on the top floor and had a very nice view. It is about 20-25 outside of city center, but it is right on the bus lines. I was sad the beautiful flower boxes were not on the windows, but it was still a beautiful place. Our times at the hotel did not aline with the restaurant, so we were not able to eat there and google maps did not show any places to eat near by. We planned for this an eat in the city before returning to the hotel.

Best view (forest and green mountains), old rooms style, good wifi, Clean Room, No AC, good staff, with elevator, far from city center but there is bus station in front of the hotel direct to city center in 20 minutes

It was such a great place to stay away from the city. Very quiet tiny town just 17 minutes away from the city centre by bus. There are buses to the city every few minutes. The staff are very friendly. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. They serve a really good breakfast which is really good value for money. There is a river just next to the hotel which is nice for an early morning walk.

I stayed at the hotel for one night. We were using motorbike, but I have noticed, there's a bus stop near the hotel. The staff were quite friendly and the room was clean, too. In the room, they have provided body wash/shampoo/hand wash, towels, and hair dryer. So, I have no bad experiences during the stay.
