Yes, this is an old hotel, but the room was clean, and the staff friendly. That porch with rocking chairs and the ocean view..... awesome. The food at the restaurant was quite good, and they make a great caramel latte. One of the most relaxing long weekends ever.
Liked that it was clean.. and the hallways didn't smell like mold.. but our room was slanted. Toilet, and beds felt like it was on a hill. Plus the room had ants all over. The hotel is a bit dated. Was shocked when they handed us an actual keys instead of a keycard lol. The elevator was cool looking though. Plus the hotel was in a very convenient spot, with it's parking lot.
I wish I had taken pictures of my room. It was NOTHING like any of the photos. I question if those photos are even from this hotel! I will never stay here again.
Mold in the room and shower. Bed was so uncomfortable
Location to boardwalk and beach was convenient and close. Food choices were great on the boardwalk. Beds were comfortable. Kitchenette was supplied with decent cookware and silverware. The only thing was how unclean the room was. The a/c was absolutely gross. Filled with mold, grease, and dirt. The windows in the room were convenient but dirty. Most likely will not be returning to Beach Plaza room 410.
