24.08.14Don't let the title for you. The Econo Lodge in Marion has a lot of great features. For one it has a pool that's open till 10:00 at night and also has pretty damn good breakfast of biscuits-n- sausage gravy, homemade waffles that you make yourself cereal juice milk. The room thermostats are spacious. I stay in a king size non-smoking room that comes with a pull-out couch a desk flat screen TV mini fridge microwave I ain't bored and other amenities upon request, such as a coffee maker. There's also a ala carte bar and beverage station at the front desk and plenty of vending machines the obligatory ice machine and a small slot machine Casino. I am staying there the last four weekends and the staff is remarkably kind and accommodating. The gentleman who runs the kitchen in the morning and also does maintenance throughout the day is a fine gentleman and I enjoy talking with him every weekend I'm there. The front desk girls, and I say girls cuz I've never seen a guy, or sweet and diligent and always friendly. I will be staying at the Econo Lodge at Marion whenever I I'm in town and need accommodations.
