We often visit Pittsburg and Lamplighter is our hotel of choice. Yesterday when we checked in, there was a line due to local events. But when it was my turn, the owner greeted me warmly and welcomed me back. He acknowledged that I was a regular. That made my day.

Upon checking in, the staff were very nice. The room was very hot upon checking into it but they had the air off, We turned the air on max cool and went to get something to eat and do some shopping. Came back and the room was still hot. We had trouble sleeping due to the heat but I do understand that Airconditioners do have issues from time to time. Other than this. The stay went well. Everything was clean as expected, my wife requested more motel shampoo and they gladly gave it to her. They had a decent breakfast. Biscuits, Gravy, Sausage and cereal. Choice of Milk and/or Apple For The Drink, and some yogurt in a cooler. I would stay again. If I do, I'll update. :)

Quiet stay, room was clean, staff was friendly and helpful. Hotel not to far from places to eat.

When I made reservations fo r sept 1 and 2 for 2 addults it finalized for aug 28 for one adult. I tried to have it cancelled but customer service line busy or would not connect so I got stiffed for one night cost I could not use. The system is rigged to allow this type of thief.
