Baleka Resort Hotel and Spa

We have stayed at Baleeka many times but it had been a while between visits. We had an upstairs room, it was sufficient but the bathroom was terrible, awful smell, no shower screen so had to have the shower on low so it didn't wet the floor, no shelf to put PJs etc on, time for a make over.

I emailed about our booking and asked for a ground floor pool, and they said yes that is fine. I also emailed and asked if we can extend our booking and pay when we get here, no problem at all. On arrival there was nothing written in our booking about staying extra. (Agoda had advertised rooms available and would be $167) but we would need to change rooms, no prob at all. I asked about our extra days booked nothing there and showed them the email, they told me I need to book in Agoda again and then the price went up to $337. Wow was not impressed they said we can’t d anything. To top it off we were in the second floor not ground floor near the pool that we were told we would get. U asked about it and was told we haven’t anything. Upon walking around the resort the last couple of days there is so many empty rooms (on ground level near the pool) so I decided to ask again and same answer no we are fully booked. So paid more than we were told and not the right room

I had a great time staying here. Staff were great and very accomdating. The best place to get massages, little gift shop was great, wouldn't recommend Breakfast due to them charging me full price twice not the recommended option. But that is in no way reflecting the motel at all. I loved the studio room.
