Quality inn & Suites Plano East - Richardson (Ex. Southfork hotel)

Súper clean. Comfortable bed. Nice work space. Very friendly staff!

My room smelled terrible! Think… wet dog, spoiled milk. We opened the window and tried to air out the room to no avail. I told the front desk but they were completely booked so did not offer another room so I asked for air freshener or something. (They did not offer to come clean or anything) I was given something to spray on the carpet, which I did, then left the window open while going to dinner. Came back and it still smelled terrible. I suffered thru it but will never stay there again. (I had family who stayed in another room who did not have this issue.) The tub looked like it could use a good bleaching. The toiletries in the room were very minimal. The shampoo and conditioner were not refilled so with one pump that was all the conditioner there was. The breakfast was not good. The coffee pot in the room leaked all over the table (which we cleaned up) and just went down to the lobby for coffee. The bed was not quality so it was hard to get a good night sleep. I do not recommend this hotel. The price was under $90 but you get what you pay for. Lesson learned.
