25.11.08 Stayed at Hotel Kojoen and absolutely loved it! The view is stunning, the staff are incredibly friendly, and both breakfast and dinner were delicious. The onsen was relaxing, and having the option for a private onsen made it even better. Highly recommend!

25.10.17 We wished we could’ve stayed longer, as we were only able to stay for dinner and to sleep, and the lake was densely foggy for our whole stay so we missed out on the highlight view; however the ryokan staff and facilities made up for the view’s shortcomings in all other ways. The room is relatively large, the onsen is relaxing, and the highlight of it all was the delicious dinner with the flavorful, tender steak and crispy, rich fish. Would absolutely stay here again upon returning to Chuzenji Onsen.
