The lady at the front desk was very sweet, and I enjoyed talking with her. The room was disgusting, however. She sent my son up to inspect the room, but he didn't check things out well. I immediately had to adjust to a strong odor of cigarette smoke, not easy for someone with asthma. The TV didn't work, and several things needed to be repaired or replaced (chipped paint, broken lampshades). There's no coffee maker or hair dryer in the room. I woke during the night to find a cousin to the Alien running across the floor, so I had trouble sleeping the rest of the night. I squashed it with my shoe, but I was expecting Mama to show up. As I was showering the next morning, I noticed the shower looked like it hadn't been cleaned in months. The curtain even had something brown on it. I hadn't noticed until I got out that the bathroom walls were dirty, and the floor looked like it hadn't been mopped this year. The onesl positive is that we didn't bring home any bedbugs. Maybe that's what the Alien creature was for.

There's is literally no reason to stay here unless you can't afford anything else and the owners know it. They advertise amenities they don't offer, such as the pool that is currently filled in with dirt and grass. The grab n go breakfast doesn't exist. There is no daily room service. Don't request anything, for them to give you a working hair dryer, for example. Literally, just don't expect anything if you come here.

Seems that if you stay at the front of the hotel you will have a quieter stay and much nicer staying. Much more sunshine and quieter guest around you. Staff leaves leave you alone unless you need them. The biggest problem we had was the cleanliness of the room whether it be the original stays in the back part of the hotel or the front hotel. The floors are filthy. My feet were black my thoughts were black my shoes were black, if you lay a towel down it will be black. Nothing has been wiped down in the room, the fixtures are old the furniture is old which is okay. But things need to at least be wiped down between guests and trash needs to be removed. The filters in the air conditioners need to be changed the smell in the rooms is quite dank. All that being said it is the cheapest place between two towns for us and we will drive the extra 18 miles for the price. We will definitely stay here again, many more times. I just will be bringing my Clorox more often.

It wasn’t a bad hotel and the staff was very friendly and helpful. And it was clean for the most part and I would have given a higher rating if it wasn’t for finding cockroaches in the time display of the microwave.

My stay was terrible. The sheets and the towels were dirty and there was no hot water im the shower. The floors were dirty and the room smelled like mildew. There were also roaches in the room and bathroom along with gnats.
