Staff is very friendly & very helpful. The woman who set up/provided breakfast was very hospitable & made sure to take care of everyone. Breakfast consisted of eggs, sausage, biscuits, waffles, bagels, cereal, toast, grits, oatmeal, apples, & oranges. Bed was fresh & very comfortable! Room was clean & housekeeping was eager to refresh linens, tidy up, etc., whatever was needed. *It would be great if the hotel considered installing hand-held shower heads.*
***SAGO PINES, which are ALWAYS DEADLY TO DOGS, are planted throughout the property!! BE CAREFUL & MINDFUL WHILE WALKING YOUR DOG***
**The Interstate noise from I-10 was ever present. I had to keep the a/c running to drown it out.
*I learned to get my card key "reactivated," every time I left the room, otherwise, the card keys seemed to be one-time use.
*I was a bit disappointed in the small selection of tv channels (I lounged in my room during my stay), & the remote sometimes had a mind of its own.
*The grounds, while cut & manicured, had lots of litter (plastic bags, styrofoam plates/bowls, cigarette butts, etc., etc.) which was unpleasant to see. It was obvious no one was taking care of the premises.
24.10.16 Out of towels when asked so i was given washcloths. Staff was kind and seemed very tired of the issues. Other issues included lights that don't/barely work, bathroom full of black mold and shower curtain moldy, shower curtain sticks to your body like crazy for some reason (again covered in mold) so you have to push it on the other side which means water pools below, someone was watching us through our window (third floor btw) and only noticed god knows how long after, ac units covered in mold, cum on seats and sides of furniture (not myself nor my partner has a penis), bedding was dirty, and the most frustrating part was that we had to get 6 different keys at different times because it seemed every time the cleaning people came by it would render all cards associated with that door useless, making it so none of our keys worked anywhere, every single day. It sucked staying here to put it lightly
