25.05.18My girlfriend always upset with other hotel rooms and shit like that because they tend to have to be cleaned by the time he gets in there and after the time she's done cleaning it it's been hours. So it's nice to see her not just instantly start cleaning where some subpar maid just fucked off her cleaning responsibilities. The maid here at the Pacific Inn is top notch! Then the front desk is super friendly and very helpful to deal with. My girlfriend tends to take hours to get ready to do anything so even if I'm checking out she still lags and speaking to the front desk the phone the problem of checking out late because of her inability to keep track of time, they worked with me and all was good!
22.05.04 I stayed there for WonderCon and thankfully, the convention center was just a 15min drive away from where I was staying.
This place is mainly just a place to sleep.
Just to also let you know, there is a $100 deposit that you get back after a few days (IF you don't smoke in the room).
I didn't expect the floor to be so bare, but I did appreciate that it smelled so clean.... until I walked around barefoot in the room.
My feet were BLACK + GRAY from simply walking around (and I was in the room for maybe 20min?).
Everything else that I could see in the room was clean.
And then on a Friday night, I came back to the hotel to find my earbuds for my phone were misplaced.
I didn't know where they were at, but I figured "Maybe they went under the bed?" even though I put them on the desk.
I was able to lift up my mattress to see if they were there (because surrounding the frame, there are thin, metal plates) and I saw 2 old, dirty, gray looking hand towels, some kind of plastic case, several pistachio shells and everything under that mattress was covered in dust and dirt... but I did not see my ear buds.
However, I did find them under the A/C unit.
I am unsure, while I was away, how they landed there when they were put on the desk (across the way).
The pillows for the bed?.... There are 5 there but very thin. You may need all 5 to sleep comfortably.
The bed itself is spring, but I slept fine.
The staff were very friendly with me at my arrival and at my departure. I did receive my $100 back after a few days (due to my bank, not them). The surrounding neighbors during my stay were not loud at all and I was able to sleep peacefully.
