What a gorgeous hotel! The room was cozy, inviting and had a home away from home feeling while being super clean. Loved it and will be staying again.

Our downstairs room might have heard more creaks than others. Pleasant continental breakfast but needs better coffee. Spacious room and bathroom. Morpeth is very small.

I think my room was one of the smaller ones but was still more than adequately roomy. The bedding and room finishes were nice. Because this is a converted house, you might notice that other residents can see straight into your room from the hallway if they happen to be passing when your door is open. Sound carries a bit between rooms and between floors. I certainly appreciate the features and decoration of this heritage building and the views of other nice old buildings from my window. The location is very convenient to the shops and eating places. If you book through Agoda you might find that your contact phone number is not passed on to the property and you might be required to initiate contact when you arrive.
