Summary: For its price, you get a great room and facilities and a relaxing stay. Cons: The place is far from most of Shanghai's tourist places (however we booked this to be somewhat close to Baoshan Port--which is not close at all, so keep in mind that travelling may be needed to spots to see if you book here. - Staff are not good in English, while they have a translator app, it doesn't translate well, so it took some time to find our booking. It's also weird they can't find our booking by the booking numbers or any receipts I showed, and relied solely on my name in my passport (which is not my name in Agoda--I used a nickname) so it didn't connect to them that I'm the same person. - Not a lot of attractions to see in the area, as well as choices in local restaurants (mostly cafes or international restaurants so not unique). - It's also along university area (?) so not a lot to see. - there's no smoking signs but the hotel hallways smell of cigarettes. (i think it's a culture thing in China) Pros: Great hotel and facilities. The Deluxe family room includes two queen beds, a long sofa by the window where you can fit 1 or 2 more persons to sleep and spacious room. - The bathroom is big with separate shower and toilet rooms so you can use the bathroom at the same time if needed. The bathroom is complete with essentials (bidet, soaps, shampoo, vanity kits, hair dryer, hamper, towels) dental kits are given when you check in. - There's a common laundry room for free of use if you want to do laundry (bring your own laundry soap). - Wifi is free and good connection. - There's free coffee and tea in the reception and a computer with internet for free use if needed. - They can also give extra key cards if needed, and other requests you have if needed (extra towels, pillows). Overall, not a cheap hotel but it's look and facilities make up for the price and the hassle of checking in.

Spacious rooms and a child-friendly environment make this hotel a good choice for families with little children. However, the staff’s limited English made communication a bit difficult at times. Overall, a comfortable stay with helpful facilities for young kids.

We went there during end of December. Winter time, the weather is 1-7 celcius. However, inside the room, that's super hot. Kids unable to sleep. Cleanliness can be improved. Inside the room, everything can be controlled by "robot", quite convenient.
