Amsterdam Hotel

We stayed in room 12. Had a balcony and amazing sea view! No restaurant but we found breakfast 2 minutes walk away. The room was a good size with a big bathroom. Great bar, the Birdcage, to sit outside and watch the world go by. Not 3 star, but it's location makes up for lack of amenities in the hotel itself!

The parking situation is absolutely awful, we found a space 25 mins away from the hotel. On arrival they said parking for 24 hours at the cost of £20 not £8 as advertised. The room was filthy, dusty, brokembathroom window, fittings broken every where, the water took about 3 mins to come from the tap. Out of date coffee sachets and 2 pots of small milk. The bed was so uncomfortable. Staff were rude and the managers behaviour was appalling. NO CUSTOMER SERVICE. Couldn't wait to leave

The bar and restaurant wasn’t open because they were doing work. We wasn’t told if this. The staff wasn’t talking English good. So hard to understand. We didn’t have a remote for the tv. The view was terrible and we dint have enough plug sockets

Nice clean room every thing to hand always someone on reception The only thing was that I was not aware of over night work on main road which was a bit disturbing ! Not a peaceful sleep although tear plugs were left in room
