The Light House Da Nang

Very close to beach, staffs helpful. The lady staff helped me carried my stuff on 3rd floor. No breakfast or coffee or tea or water for free

Great location within the tourist area, 2 streets away from the beach and 2 streets away from the main bar area. You can hear a bit of music at night from the bars and then noise from the street in the morning, but it's okay unless you're sensitive to noise. I stayed in a private room which was large and comfortable but very basic. I wish there were drawers for my clothes or even a hook in the bathroom to hang my towel. I had housekeeping come once but after they were done they left the key hanging in the lock rather than leaving at reception for me to pick up. This was very concerning as anyone, even another guest could just enter my room and take my things. The lobby is also very narrow without a common area or activities and smells like wet dog, I had to go to a different hostel to socialise and hang out with other people. They also turn the lobby lights out at 10pm and there is an uncle sleeping there so you have to come in very quietly at night. It's odd that the lobby would be darker than my room - my door is opaque so the hallway light shines through into my room and it is very bright at night. Then a few hours later sunlight comes in despite the curtains, so I did not sleep well for most of my stay there due to the brightness. Aside from the great location, for the price, it would've been better if I stayed in a hotel instead.

bathroom smelled moldy but otherwise it was fine. bed was comfy and had a light. i slept well with the blackout curtains too. lockers are outside tho so can be humid and leave stuff damp

Right in the heart of the tourist resturant/bar area. Clean as anything, very close to the beach. Really nice staff

The staff is very friendly. The room is bright and big. The location is great.
