23.12.05很乾淨,還被升等四人房真的好開心
23.09.27There was a ventilation issue for 2 nights - a smell like the stinky tofu or toilet-like smell coming likely from the vents around 3-4am. The positioning of the light switches with LED lights above the bed makes it difficult to sleep - with bright lights near the face.
Location wise - it's near enough to Yizhong Night Market and public transport is generally accessible in Taichung.
Staff on duty were nice.
23.08.02This hotel is very convenient for the travelers and foreigners. It is centre on the taichung city, you can go everywhere which is the viewpoint within 10 mins
23.06.11Pros: good location with convenience stores, bakery, banks, restaurants and retail within walking distance. Nice lobby, free breakfast (curry noodles was the best option in my opinion). Room has good counter space, small refrigerator and hot water in the shower. Staff was great. They helped facilitate the return of my phone I left at the train station. Mostly quiet with the caveat that I heard my neighbor through the headboard. Sound traveled through the headboard that was affixed to the wall.
Cons: sewer smel in room. Can be mitigated by closing the bathroom door. Bed was firmer than I liked but I was still able to get a restful sleep. Internet was not the strongest for wifi calls.
Recommended for a short stay.
23.06.09I stayed only for a night as Taichung was a quick stopover for me. The room is relatively spacious for 2 but the toilet leave little to be desired. Toilet is rather old and you can see cracked tiles and dirty grout lines. The bed linen sheet doesn’t seem to be properly wash as there are visible stain marks. The hotel lobby is pretty and decorated with quirky decor but it’s doesn’t translate to the rooms. Check out is done through a self check out machine so there wasn’t much interactions with the staffs. If you aren’t picky about toilet, then this hotel is for you.
