26.03.10A short stayover at Point A Hotel Edinburgh at Haymarket. Although the room is relatively small with barely any amenities, the room is still clean and comfortable for short stay. Staffs are all very friendly and helpful too.
26.02.01We have stayed here before, and we do like the hotel. Last time we stayed in a windowless room, but there was plenty of space.
This time we were in a room with a window (Room 111), but you shouldn’t be charging this room as the same as the other rooms. There is only set of plug points on one side of the bed, and the bedside shelf above the safe is nice and wide on one side, but is tiny on the other side of the bed. Hardly any room to move round if you need to go to toilet, if you stay on the window side. and on top of that, the curtain doesn’t go all the way round, so you could easily flash somebody at the window! I genuinely think you somehow need to slightly change the layout, as the person on one side has plenty of room, plug sockets and shelf, whereas the other side of bed, is so tight and no space, it is slightly ridiculous.
I still left a high review, as I do the hotel, but I will definitely never accept room 111 or similar place on other floors.
I think it is probably specific to room 111 and the same
