24.07.04 Although slightly outside of the city we had a great stay as it was less busy and quiet!! Great bus routes outside the B&B not far from Cameron toll shopping centre. Friendly staff happy to help and lovely breakfast to set you up for the day.
22.10.09 Much of the response to this place seems to be reflected in the price that people paid to stay. We didn't pay that much so we weren't disappointed. The previous reviews about tired looking rooms that need renovating are true. If you expect that you'll be close to Edinburgh city centre, you'll be disappointed. It's handy though if you are looking for somewhere that's affordable on the ring road out of Edinburgh. Don't expect much and you'll be okay. The staff are friendly.
22.04.17 Spent one night so the family could take in the sights of Edinburgh. Easy access into the city, very easy book in arrangements. Room spacious, clean and very well stocked with things we didn't expect in this price range. Good nights sleep followed by a very pleasantly served Continental breakfast. The young lady was very helpful and welcoming. Highly recommended and would definitely stay again.
25.09.19 I recently stayed at this guest house for three nights and, unfortunately, my experience was not very comfortable. The bed in my room was extremely noisy – even a slight turn would make a loud creaking sound, which made it very difficult to get proper sleep during my stay. The bathroom area was also quite small and did not meet my expectations, especially considering the budget.
On a positive note, the lady I met during breakfast was very kind and welcoming, and the breakfast itself was nice. However, overall, I was disappointed with the facilities and feel there is room for improvement
