Twin Lions Hotel

This is just along from Murrayfield and on various bus routes in to Edinburgh and the airport. It is dated, but very comfortable and the staff were excellent. The chap on reception even carried our bag up to our room and made us tea and coffee in the evening. Really friendly and helpful. If you're looking for luxury though, this is not for you. The beds were comfy and rooms clean, but it's an older building with creaky floorboards and noises travel. But I can't rate the location or staff high enough.

This hotel is ideal for Murryfield. Although it's a dated place and the facilities are old the staff are exceptional. You only have a short walk to get to Murryfield and if you want a quick visit this is the place for you. Staff helped with public transport and even made us hot drinks when getting back after a day out.

I was greeted by the manager and he was so kind - carried my bag up the stairs and the room was great! Bathrooms were clean and the linen was fresh. Breakfast was amazing! Had a menus and the manager came out and took your order. He was very fast too! Highly recommend! And thanks so much for the wonderful hospitality:)

It had a home like feel and was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and we felt well cared for.
